Privacy notice

Who we are

DSR Dev is a trading name of DSR Media Ltd. We decide how the information described here is used, which makes us its controller. You can reach us at the email address on our contact page.

What this notice covers

This notice covers dsrdev.co.uk: our enquiry form and the sign-in for our clients. If you're a customer of a business that uses our platform (for example, you booked or bought something from them), that business is responsible for your information and its own privacy notice applies. We handle that information on the business's behalf.

What we collect when you send an enquiry

  • Your name and your business's name
  • Your email address, and your phone number if you give it
  • What you need and your message
  • When you sent it

To stop the form being abused, our server uses your IP address to limit how often enquiries can be sent. It's used only for that limit, kept for no more than 24 hours, and not stored with your enquiry.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry to reply to you, arrange a call and prepare a proposal if you ask for one. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries. We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.

Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies. When a client signs in, we use essential cookies to keep them signed in securely. These are needed for the sign-in to work, so we don't ask for consent for them.

Who helps us

We use a small number of providers to run this site: our hosting and database providers, and an email provider that delivers the notification of your enquiry to us. They only use your information to provide their service to us. Card payments for our services are handled by Stripe; we never see or store card details. Where a provider handles information outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the UK's approved contract terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 12 months from when you sent them, then delete them. If you become a client, your details become part of your client account and are covered by your agreement with us.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • see the information we hold about you
  • correct it if it's wrong
  • delete it
  • stop or limit how we use it

Email us at the email address on our contact page and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

If we change this notice, we'll update this page and the date at the top. See also our terms.
